Student Team – UK & Ireland
Introduction
Dear Student Team,
Eurocircuits is fully committed to helping and supporting UK and Ireland Student Teams with their Electronic Project during their academic careers. After all they are the future of the European electronics industry.
Eurocircuits aims to support these Teams by supplying the bare or assembled PCBs free of charge for the project and building strong relationships for the future.
Let’s have fun making electronics with future engineers!
Kind regards and good luck,
Dirk Stans

Duration of a Student Team Support Agreement
The duration of such an agreement covers an academic year, which we define as from 1 October to 30 September of the following calendar year.
This duration is subject to a number of conditions:
- Application and conclusion of an agreement must be made before 31 December of the academic year. We do not accept later applications.
- Orders and arranging payments for these orders, within the agreed budget, must be settled before the end of the academic year concerned in order to be eligible for compensation.
All this requires a certain discipline in order and action, but is the only modus operandi that allows us to support as many student teams as possible.
Benefits
PCB and Assembly Service
Eurocircuits is willing to support Student Teams by delivering the PCBs, bare or assembled boards, that are required to complete their project.
How does this work? The team starts by creating a free online Customer account and sending in an application to us to request student support.
Once the application is approved and the budget is established, the team can start ordering up to the value of the agreed budget for that year. Student Teams can use Eurocircuits name and logo in blogs and promotional material for the project and share these with Eurocircuits so that Eurocircuits can follow the progress of the project. You can get help and support throughout the process from uploading your data, having it checked by our Visualizer tools and technical engineers to receiving your manufactured boards.
Workshops and Webinars given by Eurocircuits
Eurocircuits is willing to give a workshop and/or webinar to further support the team in realising their electronic project or learning more about electronics in general. Feel free to make your own request about a subject or check our list of possible subjects below. List of possible subjects:
- How to use our online Visualizer and editing Tools.
- How we make a 4-layer PCB.
- PCB Soldering.
- The perfect design flow: from CAD to CAM.
- ……

How to apply for Student Team Support?
Step One – Establish a Budget
Establish a budget for the bare or assembled PCBs you require for your project.
This can easily be done by using the Eurocircuits Online Calculator. More information about how to calculate and order can be found here.
Send this detailed budget to Sarah Portsmouth including a description of the Teams’ project and ambitions. Or contact Sarah if you have any questions or need further information.
Upon receiving this email, she will contact you to discuss this budget (amount in GBP for the UK and Euros for Ireland and Northern Ireland excluding VAT) and the details needed to create an Agreement
Step Two – Deliver Partnership-agreement and Contact Details
You will receive an email containing a first proposal for a partnership-agreement and a form for the team to complete with all the details about the Teams’ legal entity and relevant contact details.
Please return this as soon as possible.
Step Three – Order your PCB
Your team is now able to use its online Eurocircuits customer account like any other Eurocircuits customer.
Using the Eurocircuits account, the Team processes their data through the online Visualizer tool ensuring that it meets the Eurocircuits manufacturing criteria.
If the design meets the criteria, it can be checked out and ordered.
If you need any assistance with uploading your design and use of our powerful online tools, please contact Sarah and she will organise a call or online meeting so that the Technical Manager in the UK can talk you through the process and assist you or the team with any queries that you may have.
